
I’m really happy that someone from the advertising/marketingindustry handled our country’s tourism campaign. The slogan is very simple but you can do a lot with it. I’m also happy that finally, they explored and believed in the power of digital and viral marketing (spread the words through the NETIZENS and tap the international market through your itching hands and daily cravings fro social networks).
When I read the slogan, i remembered my relatives abroad who would always say, “Iba pa rin sa Pilipinas” and yes, true enough, IBA NGA, because IT’S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES. (Great job BBDO and Tourism Secretary Jimenez).
To those who criticize this campaign and would say that it’s another rip-off from an old swiss tourism slogan, well FUN used to be theirs, but now it’s officially OURS. #itsmorefuninthephilippines
